Most projects take a fabricator, an install crew, a rigging company, and a maintenance team: four vendors, three handoffs, and an argument over who's at fault when something slips. OSF covers all four under one contract and one point of contact, so there are fewer handoffs, one team accountable for the whole job, and one number to call when something needs to move.

The Reality

A line down for maintenance can cost six figures a day. When a contractor quotes two weeks and runs to three and a half, the plant absorbs the overrun and risks a failed inspection — and both land on the manager who hired him. The work has to be right the first time: completed inside the shutdown window, cleared by the inspector, every weld documented, and the floor left clean.
